Nakamichi Delta 20 Operate w/o remote control

Hi,

I am new to the forum and i don't know if this is the right place to ask this since its not actually directly related to fixing electronic boards and such but anyone has a lot of experience about remote control appliances? we don't have techy persons here and i am not yet knowledgeable about remote controls. We have a nakamichi delta 20, an fm radio http://nakamichi.com.au/index.php/products/delta/delta-20-detail and we lost its remote control, we can't see anything like button panels on it like any other appliances that has remote controls also. i looked at its manual and hasn't seen anything about operating the fm radio w/o remote control, can i use universal remotes for this? don't i have to program the universal remote? Thanks
