Need a little help understanding this part of a SMPS

Hey all. After being mad for electronics back when Dick Smith used to sell electronic components I have recently got back into it as a bit of lockdown relief and have a SMPS on my desk from a active speaker I use for my music production. After looking at the schematics and doing a bit of googling one part of the circuit has me puzzled, I am guessing its a form of inrush current limiting but was hoping someone out there can confirm that or correct my thinking. It's on the AC side before the mosfets and is basically 4 diodes in parallel with a thermistor from the positive side linking in-between the 3rd and forth diode. I understand the Thermistor is there for current limiting but can not work out why it links where it does and what this achieves. Here is the link to the schematic. https://imgur.com/a/NAot5LQ

Yes, inrush current limiting.
The inrush current is caused by the charging of C7 and C8 which are on the "DC" side of the bridge rectifier formed by the 4 diodes.

Yes it's for inrush current limiting.

It's just that the schematic is drawn a little bit weird (not the typical diamond-shaped arrangement for the 4 bridge rectifier diodes), but it's literally going like this: AC input -> thermistor -> bridge rectifier -> filter capacitors

Nothing at all unusual about the design other than the way the schematic is drawn.
