Need a relay

Hi all, newby here, I'm repairing a active speaker & I'm pretty sure the relay has gone. Only trouble is I can't seem to find one, Any ideas gratefully received.

Hello,
Relays rarely fail. Have you checked for 12v across the coil? You could apply 12v from a battery or power supply just to prove that the relay clicks over.
If the relay has failed, it's a pretty standard item and it shouldn't be hard to find one (I probably have some somewhere in the shack).

Thanks for the reply Christopher, the relay is switching on / off most of the time when the speaker is switched on, so I'm guessing it's shot, had this before with relays. Never seen one with these markings before i.e. the 8A threw me.

Blueskull, thanks for the info, I got the part number from Mouser & ordered from RS who I deal with regularly, so hopefully it'll be happy day's.

Hi all, just to conclude this thread, I found the relay Blueskull recommended & it's a success. Many thanks to the people that helped with my search, and a great forum, hope I can be of help to someone too soon.
