Need help identifying a component
« on: December 19, 2019, 10:36:36 am »
Hello..I was trying to replace the left analog stick of my ps4 controller and while heating the solder pads with a hot air gun I burnt the connector circled in the picture. I need help in identifying the component and also from where I can get it. If not possible then please let me know if there's an alternative.🙏🙏
Thanks

Please sir help me I couldn't find any other high resolution images but I can tell that a 12-pin flex ribbon cable attaches into the burnt/destroyed connector. Let me know if this helps🙏

I think this may be it - https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000073381392.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.326d2b8bAqdFLz&algo_pvid=9ce9f335-f639-41c6-8adf-57c10d6ecba6&algo_expid=9ce9f335-f639-41c6-8adf-57c10d6ecba6-7&btsid=f6fd323e-3842-444b-90ea-e9ea365049bf&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_10,searchweb201603_53

If you search for FFC-12P SMD or FPC-12P SMD connectors you should find them. I can only find 50pcs or 100pcs on ali, but with a bit of googling, you might find them in single quantities.
