Need help identifying a surface mount component

Hello

I am trying to fix a Red Witch Medusa chorus pedal but I have no schematics.  I am trying to identify the SOT component below.  The only markings it has are "MV"
According to the SMD codes databook it is a Diode.  But I think it may be a transistor because it connects to the LED which flashed at the rate of the LFO circuit.

Any ideas what it might be?
