Title: "Need Help Identifying Burned Q3 Component on Solenoid Valve Board for Oxygen Co
Post by: Salehabadi on January 20, 2025, 01:41:00 am
Hello,

I have a circuit board from the solenoid valve of a hospital oxygen concentrator's moisture filter, and one of its components (Q3) has burned. I need help identifying its name and specifications so I can replace it.

Details:

1. Component Location: The damaged component is located at position Q3 on the board.

2. Physical Condition: The area around the component is completely blackened, and part of the component itself has melted, making its markings unreadable.

3. Application: This board is part of the solenoid valve controlling the moisture filter in a hospital oxygen concentrator.

My question is:
Can anyone help identify the type and specifications of the Q3 component based on the attached photos?

I'm guessing it's a PNP BJT or P-channel MOSFET. It appears to be a high side load switch.
