Title: Need help identifying this FET driver !
Post by: Giorg on July 25, 2017, 03:53:06 pm
hello forum! I need your help to identify this IC.

I'm trying to fix a battery charger and  this IC becomes really hot so at the moment it's the number one suspect.

Markings are abraded. From some quick probing

(diode from VCC)   --   -- OUT 1
                     VCC --   -- GND
                     IN1 --   -- OUT 2
                     IN2 --   -- OUT 3
                2kGND --   -- VCC
                   GND --   -- GND
                    VCC --  -- OUT 4
                   GND --  -- (diode from VCC)

IN1 and IN2 are coming from the main uC.
VCC is 5V
package SOIC 16

I think is a quad FET driver but I cannot find a matching pinout... anyone has a clue ?

I owe you a beer ! I've looked at that IC before but I misinterpreted the pinout. Thank you! I've also found 2 mosfet damaged and got it working again.
