Just bought fluke-124-scopemeter used as new still has the transparent sticker on screen
I bought it with a really too much money for me the only problem was the battery has a little drain
so I was wondering if I can measure the cells by scop it self cause I didn't have a multimeter at that time ,
once I contacted the com black lead to one of cells it turned off and never work again , I opened the device and followed the service manual but no result ,
the only result is the masking firmware work if I pressed right and up buttons ,I measured a lot of small components but seems fine
, I contacted fluke US but they told me that fluke 124 is no longer supported , If any body has any experience for such a problem please help me ..

First, clarify or elaborate it

I did it once before in a multi-meter it was fine , beside I was pretty sure that such a good brand like fluke should has a perfect protection like to isolated the battery power because they already use transformers inside like in the fly back converter and charging circuit..
