Need help to ID this device
« on: June 14, 2020, 01:12:45 am »
This is the controller module from my Jenn-Air JGS8850ADW range/oven. I took it out to replace capacitors hoping to fix F1-1 and F3-1 fault codes. What is this device that is marked "A1" on the printed circuit board? The printing on the back side reads "47/02".

Thanks.

It is a piezo disc, aka the source of the beeps and other sounds.

That is a piezoelectric transducer. It goes 'beep'. I'd leave it be (unless it annoys you).
