Need help to repair Fluke 867B
« on: March 10, 2019, 08:35:25 pm »
guys, I need some help to repair my Fluke 867B, it suddenly stopped working on OHMS/DT/CT test, you can see from the picture, on OHMS it shows numbers with nothing plugin, also shows 2.5V on DT, 0.0567uf on CT.  Short test leads on OHMS get some unstable readings. Clean knob doesn't change anything. DCV and ACV seem ok but I didn't fully test all the ranges.

Any advice?

Usually a good starting point is to check PCB for battery leakage and clean the rotary switch contacts.
After that either you get hold of the schematic and start thinking or reflow the ASIC under the shield...
