Need help with LCD screen and ribbon cable

Hi all,

I have this old PocketPro shot timer that has the ribbon cable connecting the LCD-panel to the LCD-module broken off (see attachment). As far as I know it's a "heat attach" cable, but the glue seems to we worn off. How should I start going about fixing this? Can I somehow find out the what the LCD-module/screen is? Can I order a new ribbon cable somehow? Any suggestions are most welcome.
