I had a problem with an 5ft LEDLite light from TLC that worked initially, then flashed randomly before not working. Another guy on the forum had the same problem but could not find a solution.
I hate landfill so decided to attempt a fix. On mine the issue was the transformer. A chip was loose on the LED Driver so I attempted to re-solder it. Initially this worked but came loose again upon refitting into the light casing. The second attempt ended up shorting the driver.
Having contacted the supplier (who does not supply spare parts), I gleaned the following information:
Maker Ciguang
Model: WL50-23-001
Input Voltage 220-240V/50Hz/60Hz
Input power 50W max
Input Current: 0.24A max
PF:>0.9. TC:<75 degrees C, Ta:-15 degrees C - +50 degrees C
Sec Output: 68V
Output Current 730mA
Constant current driver
The closest I could find on the web after extensive searching was:
HuaTec Eaglerise
Model LS-50-700 LI1
Input Voltage 220-240V/50Hz/60Hz
Input power 50.1W max
Input Current: 0.37A max
PF:>0.95. Ta:45 degrees C, TC:85 degrees C
Sec Output: 42.5-71.5VDC
Output Current 700mA
Constant current driver
This is available on Amazon.co.uk £17.99 at the time of writing.
It just fits in the case although you can't secure it using the same holes as the orginal due to its different shape. Not an issue as the light remains static on the ceiling once fitted.
So I fitted the LED Driver and its fixed.
So much more satisfying creating more landfill.
I hope this helps someone else with the same problems.
P.S. The supplier was helpful in confirming the spec on the chinese made LED Driver. They can be reached at info@LEDlite.co.uk
