Need LED for pioneer cassette deck CT-F950
(1/1)
Bargainhunter:
I am looking for a special LED indicator light used on a Pioneer CT-F950 cassette deck.
It is odd shaped.  4.75mm round then near the tip becomes 2.22mm round for the legnth of 3.75mm.
Does anyone know where to find one or how to make or modify a green LED?

Thank you,
Chuck

Thank you all for your help.
Someone sent me a link to Newark electronics.  They show the exact LED made by Multicomp.  It's a tower LED and ships from England.

If that falls through, tme.eu  (ships from Poland)  has some that are similar (but not round) :

When all else fails, I leave the failed LED in place and cut off the leads. I then mount a white LED directly behind so it shines through the original LED. Works.
