Broken FFC/Keyboard/Membrane/Ribbon cable - that's it?
« on: March 31, 2020, 04:35:11 am »
A moment of stupidity and **** happens. I partly ribbed a membrane keypad cable.

The other side is fixed to the membrane keypad, which is glued to a housing - impossible to remove. Means simply replacing it is no option. Modeling the whole keypad is tricky without circuit diagram (4 pads, 8 LED), it's a 14 lines cable.

Ideal would a foil piercing connector, Crimpflex connectors do need special tools though and I am not aware of other types.

Are there repair options or i that a RIP case?
