nice, broken, but repairable UPS
« on: August 12, 2016, 08:36:30 pm »
Found one of these pure sine wave jobs for $20...

https://www.amazon.com/Tripp-Lite-SU2200RTXL2UA-Rackmount-Outlets/dp/B00006B81Y/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1471033899&sr=8-1&keywords=su2200rtxl2ua

Front panel corners were smacked a bit, but main problem...  No Power. If you let these babies sit, they drain the batteries to zero, never to work again. New set of batteries $60

Hard to get the front panel screws out they got really bent up. Once I got the panel off, swapped in the new battery set. Working great!

Good stuff. I got one the same way but it wasn't that caliber! Amazing that people don't even try to change the batteries.
