nvidia Quadro K1200 VRM
« on: August 16, 2020, 02:11:11 pm »
Hi

What I believe is the VRM for my quadro card failed a little while ago. Magic smoke and everything

Looks like U501 is cooked, as well as one of the N channel mosfets in the top right of the card.

I am going to attempt to fix it by replacing U501 and the mosfet but unfortunately the U501 chip is so toasted I can't make out the part number  :o

Is there anyone out there with a genuine nvidia Quadro K1200 that can tell me what U501 is?

Thanks :)

Looks like it is an ANPEC APW8722 5v to 12v single buck voltage mode PWM controller
