« on: December 20, 2023, 07:18:15 pm »
Hello people,

my father has this TV where the Screen looks like in the Pic down below. Its not a physical damage, so ist must be the Board. Dies anyone hast a clue what this could be?

The most common cause of vertical lines is the COF bonding  from the control boards on the top of the LCD screen become detached. Usually the lines tend to be continuous. These lines look broken which would lead me to believe its a main board issue.
If it's the connections on the LCD, then a little pressure on the FFC/FPC cables (copper coloured ribbons) connected to the top of display will reconnect the breaks and the lines disappear. If that fails try re-seating the  flat cables from the main mother board to the LCD control boards. If that fails then the main mother board is probably on it's last breath and needs replacing.

So i've tested every Display related connector/cable now and nothing hast changed. If i disconnect every Signal cable, and only let the Backlight connected, the lines are still there and Look Like in the Pictures attached, its just a black Screen with those lines.

So im thinking that it must be the Display itself then?
