Pairing a Crest ultrasonic cleaner tank with another brand generator

A friend gave me a Crest 4HT-1014-6 tank that would normally pair with a Genesis 4G-500-6 500W external generator. Those generators sell for quite a lot on eBay, even when super old and in terrible condition. Is it possible to pair that tank with a more generic generator?

For instance, I saw this 600W one linked below on aliexpress, but it was unclear if it'd be compatible. The Crest tank only has a male BNC connector whereas the generic generator has a couple of different connections on the back side.

I messaged Granbo Ultrasonics on aliexpress to ask if their generators are compatible with Crest tanks and they said:

our ultrasonic generator compatible with any ultrasonic tanks , as long as the transducer frequency is matched

That makes sense. I ended up getting a janky broken Crest generator from eBay for a decent price so am going to try to patch that up first before ordering a generator from Ali.
