Hello, I have a monitor (no name... the label on it was scratched) when sometimes at the opening shows vertical color thin lines. First when I turn off and turn on the screen the lines dissapear or Second if I leave open the screen after 3-5 minutes the lines gone. I measured the voltages at the below tables when there are no lines displayed and when the lines are present and but all the voltages was the same. I moved back and forth the connectors and the COF tabs but the vertical lines didn't displayed with any movement. I brushed all the connectors with IPA. Do you believe that these thin vertical lines it is from the degrade of the panel (new panel if I find) or from a bad component? |

This happened to one of my ASUS monitors that was still under warranty. I sent it in for repair and they decided it was more economical to just send me a new monitor. You have to decide how much time it is worth to fix the monitor. |
