Hello
i am trying to fix an old motherboard that does not boot due to bulged capacitors, those capacitors are on top of the cpu socket, so i decided to remove those capacitors and then buy new ones, before removing the capacitors, i tested them using the continuity mode on the multi-meter and there was no short, after i removed those 5 capacitors the board is shorted to ground not only on the spots where the capacitors were, but also on other spots, is this normal or did i destroy the motherboard?
