PCB Repair Kits

I had to repair a couple of PCBs in the past few months (mostly lifted SMD pad and a cut trace). They were not particularly difficult repairs but it's something I don't do very often so I guess I'm not used to it. After a quick search I came across PCB repair kits sold by various manufacturers (PACE, Circuit Medic). The thing is, they are very expensive and I'm not sure they are really worth the money. They may do a nice job though. So my question is: has anyone ever used such tools and if so, are the results any good ?
