Perseus SDR receiver, errors.. internal, firmware, rate and others. Solved

I share this solved problem, perhaps someone is looking for the same issue...

I have a Perseus SDR receiver for already 7 years, worked al these years perfect.


But last months it worked sometimes not, all kind of random software errors, like internal error, firmware not loaded, bit rate,
windows sometimes did not recognized the USB device, reported unknown device.

Spend a lot of time with reinstall software,drivers etc...nothing worked,
The strange tihing was that sometimes it worked well for an hour.

Finanal, i found the error, it was the original power adapter, the elco's inside after 7 years....
The power adapter gave only wierd 4 Volt , has to be 5 Volt...

Replacing the power adapter for an other 5 Volt 1 Amp (600-700 mA for the perseus) solved all problems.


At first I did not suspect the power adapter, because it powered correct up, and sometimes it worked oke,
all errors looked software related.
