Panasonic PT-AE4000U problem
« on: June 05, 2015, 07:46:07 pm »
I received a Panasonic Pt-A4000U for repair.  The projector is dead.  No blown fuse.  Visually everything looks okay.  I do not have any voltages past the relay which is activated by 15V and the relay switches on the 110V and secondary voltages.
It seem the customer had his electrical outlet wired in reverse.  Any ideas as to where I should start?

Thank you.

You should probably check the usual suspects, Caps (look for bulges or leaks), Power Supply (see if it is outputting voltage to the rest of the device), etc. Look for anything that looks burnt.
