Philips oscilloscope pm-2332 strange issue
« on: October 08, 2024, 04:43:57 pm »
Hey!

I have a Philips oscilloscope (PM-2332) that's having an issue with the probe adjustment signal (calibration signal). When I try to probe it on the front of the scope, nothing shows up. However, if I use another oscilloscope to probe it, the signal appears.

What's strange is that the signal frequency changes according to the sweep rate of the Philips scope when I adjust the time base.

Does anyone have an idea of what the fault might be?   :-//

I've uploaded part of the schematic where the signal originates, and I've marked it with a red circle.
