Philips pm3543 5v rail sucking lots of power

The oscilloscope and logic analyser are both functional.
The problems are
- The 5v rail of the analyser is taking around 1.7Amps.
- The 5v rail when disconnected has no ripple. But when re-connected to the analyser board a ripple becomes present.
- There is a loud transformer buzz that goes away when I disconnect the analyser board from the 5v rail.
- When turned on for the first time the logic analyser display if dislodged to the bottom of the CRT. If I shut if off and turn on fast the analyser display goes back to its correct vertical location within the CRT.
Although the high power usage and transformer buzz the logic analyser is completely functional.
I haven't added images or schematics but happy to do so if anyone wants to help.
Just let me know what you need to see and I can upload it here.

Hi there gkmaia,
I have a PM3543 that has a working oscilloscope and a non working logic analyser pcb. I would really appreciate your help with a schematic for the logic analyse pcb if you have one.
