This is just a regular power transistor. The phrase describes how it was manufactured and its type, but it has no bearing on actual use. I don't know why anyone would want to know how it is made as long as it meets the stated characteristics.

Most of the transistors you see around (especially standalone ones) are planar, bringing it out at the top is just strange. And triple diffusion is something they needed to do to get the required characteristics. It is sort of meaningless information, more like a marketing thing.

Thanks for the reply
You mean that this means nothing on the operation of the transistor. That's weird cause usually the put the important and useful info at the top of the first page

And if you can describe what "planner" mean in a transistor please and "standalone"
Cause I don't know what does it mean . I only know BJT and mofet

Planar is a manufacturing method. Read the linked lab document, it describes how planar transistors are made.  It just means that it was manufactured on the plane of a silicon wafer. This is opposed to mechanically combining semiconductor materials, like they did when the transistors were first invented.

And by standalone, I meant just a singe transistor in the package. With the advanced ICs, manufacturers get creative and making all sorts of 3D structures (FinFET and stuff like this).

It is hard to put useful features in the header for a generic transistor. So, marketing got creative and put random stuff there. Happens all the time.
