Pop 3 Tablet repair

Recently I got a Android 7 inch tablet from China/Ali express it's called Pop 3, anyway, While messing about with the settings I tried  to change the resolution since the the screen has turned blank and the back light stays on, any idea how to fix this? Tried the reset button. :-BROKE

My brother did it ('abdullahseba' is his EE user name) something to do with pressing all the buttons on the side to bring up the boot menu and resetting to factory default it deleted all the apps but that didn't matter as we'd only just got it and hadn't many installed. ;)

All the buttons or just holding volume up and power up?
Although some other devices is just holding volume down and then power up.
