Power Solve Flexpower X4-3J3R5G Modular SMPS info
« on: January 09, 2023, 10:43:08 pm »
I am trying to repair an industrial  power supply from Power Solve, UK. It is composed by a primary; with a PFC; and different secondaries that fit on bays (up to 5) and allows to configure for your product needs. This one has three outputs (12V 10A + 5,0V 10 A; 24V 17 A; and 12V 25 A) and comunications.
Now the primary PFC stage, is badly blown: Power mosfets; PFC controller L4981; Mosfet driver TC1413; and housekeeping power supply chip TOP 246G. I´ve identified the chips, but the power supply is quite complex and I am sweating a lot to reverse engineer the circuit. Something is not right yet (open traces...?), and I feel that replacing the components and trying it may lead to a expensive and shamefull explosion.
Has anybody any circuits for this thing ?
Thanks!!
