Power supply Enermax identification component
« on: March 06, 2022, 03:15:30 am »
My pc power supply had a short on the 3.3v line and also on the 12v line. When opening the power supply I checked some electrolytic capacitors in short and also a component that I could not identify.

I would like someone to help me identify this component that has no number, just a red color band in the center.

Thank you very much in advance

SA = Surge Arrestor (gas filled)?

Something like this?

Edit:

If the device is connected across a low voltage DC supply, then it may be zener diode or transient voltage suppressor.

Thank you for your collaboration, fzabkar

After your post I looked for the component you suggested. And it really is a model RL102-201M 200v 1KA Gas Discharge Tube.
