Pragmatic 2202A With No Display

Hey guys, I've found a Pragmatic 2202A that I'm considering buying. The only problem is that it's broken. I don't have any experience with test equitment repair and I can't find anything online about this device, so I thought I could find some advice here. The Pragmatic 2202A is described as having no display. How difficult do you guys think it would be to repair this? What are the chances that the display isn't the only thing that is busted? And you guys have any info on this machine, like a manual, because I can't seem to find anything online? Thanks in advance, you guys are always so helpful!

   I have a 2414.  Unless you can get it for no more than $10 and just want a challenge, I wouldn't recommend buying it. Particularly since you have no experience repairing electronics. AFIK there is no service information available for them and Pragmatic is an uncommon brand so it's unlikely that you'll find anyone that can give you any advice.

   IF you still want to buy it, look at it closely first and if it shows any signs that anyone has already tampered with it, then DON'T buy it! There's no telling what was done in a previous repair attempt.

Yeah, that's pretty much what I was thinking. The back of it looks crusty and it's missing a bevel around the front panel, so it has probably been tampered with. Thanks for the advice!
