PreSonus Eris e66 audio amplifier problem
« on: May 09, 2023, 02:48:53 pm »
Hello, I got problem with PreSonus Eris e66. It has missing audio amplifier for mid tones. Right one is TDA7294 for high tones. Anyone know what amplifier should be placed there? Looking forward to hearing from you!

I would guess it's another TDA7294.

But that's a guess.

Does it have the same number of pins?

Hey, thank you for yours response. It has same layout. I tried to place here TDA7294 but it died after powering up, so I am not sure if it is same amplifier.

Where did you buy the TDA7294 from?

From local online store. I checked it before placing, measurments were same as original TDA.

Did you check whatever the chip is feeding its power output into?

If the original was missing, someone removed it. Solder bridges or other damage?

I did not check. It died instantly so was not even able to measuements. No bridges, no missing components, no other damage, board is clean, thats why I am guessing there will be different audio amplifier.
