Problem black screen Tektronix TDS210 / 220
« on: January 22, 2020, 09:39:58 am »
Hi all

I have a problem with oscilloscope tektronix TDS210/220.
It had a problem with BNC connectors, they were broken off. It was common mistake. Anyway, it was fully functional.

The problem was when:
- I carefully disassembled the device.
- I comply with rules of ESD.
- I exchanged BNC connectors.
- I assembled the device, but display didnt working (nothing showed and black screen)

I checked:
- charging power supply voltages are OK
- display backlight is OK
- processor CLK is OK
- output for calibration probe is OK
- I pull out display cable and I measured signals on the connector J202 and it is OK too.

I am thinking, that it has bad display (problem with display). But I dont understand, how it can be broken only with disassembled device.
May you help me with this problem? Where may be the problem?  :(
thank you for help.
