You are seeing the flyback.

Get the manual (search online, several copies) and go through the manual calibration procedure - which, amongst other stuff, sets the beam dark current. You'll probably find it's OK after that.

A more common name for that is "retrace", where "retrace blanking" may be found in the manual.  "Flyback" usually refers to a power-supply technology, although traditional TV sets generated the CRT high-voltage during the retrace period and that was called "flyback".  Just a suggestion to guide searching for the topic.

yes, this is a setting in the calibration and maintenance procedure and a very simple correction, if everything else is alight.

I never had this problem isolated by itself.
Maybe someone played with the calibration settings?

To access the maintenance screen, you need to enter the password: "32415"
After you are happy with the setting, you need to confirm your changes with a push of a small tool though the pin-hole in the front panel.
(Behind the calibration seal)

Let us know, if you fixed it

I made those calibration settings ,I pressed the pin-hole but it doesn't store anything, when I pressed the pin-hole on the screen I see 6 empty calibration ,soo the memory is ok
also when I start the osciloscop , on the screen i see two error , battery back-up missing and time is not valid :-//

Did you check the two AA batteries in the back?
