« on: June 11, 2016, 10:47:15 am »
Hi all,

anyone an idea how to repair a male sma connector, the screw part is missing and now I want to add one from a piece of rigid coax but I can't get it off. Tricks welcome.

TNX,

it is actually a 3.5mm connector..........Mavin sells these as 2.92mm on Ebay but $40 just for a connector all together is too much for me.

if you're repairing a 3.5mm SMA you're risking to destroy anything you connect it to.
Don't do it and swallow the price for a used branded one if you absolutely have to.

Done it, it has become an Omni Spectra 201-1 screw part, same dimentions as the Wiltron head. With new spring it works fine.
