PROBLEMS WITH RIGOL DS1202Z-E AFTER UPDATE IT DOES NOT TURN ON

Hello, I'll tell you the problem, the equipment is new, at first I put a wrong hack on it and it went from 200 mhz to 100 mhz but it worked well, then I tried to install an official update and the equipment stayed on the logo, the only way I could get it out of there is to install another firmware of another model, a 4-channel version, it passed the logo but everything went crazy, the tips didn't work, then I tried with another firmware and from that moment on it didn't turn on again, not even the logo and the worst thing is that you can't force the firmware installation with the green help button, I think the pre boot was damaged or something like that.

If anyone has an SPI file to get rid of that error or some other solution, I would appreciate it.

Hi, dunno, am not familiar with your Rigol DS-1202Z,
but often updates are not so necessary for electronic measurment devices .

But I do know there is a bunch of differences between 100Mhz & 200Mhz.
And simply an update won't resolve that, periode.

There is a lot of hardware involved ;-?

You could try a "cold" re-flash, perhapse the system kept somewhere in a ROM-part
the original version, . . .

But please, quit thinkering with things you don't know about.
What amateur electronics hobbyist needs more than 100Mhz  :phew:

what are you talking about "cold" re-flash, And as for the MHz, my oscilloscope was originally 200, but due to my clumsiness it was set to 100 MHz.

I have already tried all the options in that link, the problem is that the computer does not install the firmware by force when pressing the help button, the screen goes black and after 4 minutes it turns red with all the LEDs flashing.
