Puzzled by ribbon connector GRD pins?

As a newbie I'm just wanting to have something confirmed about this connector and the pins 8 and 22, the schematic shows these as connected, surely when I put my probes on both in continuity mode I should hear a sound? Or am I missing something?

I've attached the full schematic to this post, but here's a snapshot of the connector part:

Also, on a schematic when I see a component has GRDLED should I get continuity if I touch probe on that and on to pin 8 or 22 which are labeled GRDLED?

They are shown connected so ... there will be almost Zero ohms. A sound? If your DMM is set to continuity mode it will make a sound.

thanks. All sorted now. There was a broken thru-hole so no connection from top of board to bottom. Did a fix as shown on youtube, and all good now.
