« on: November 30, 2022, 05:58:45 pm »
Goodnight all! I am looking for the service manual for the RACAL DANA 4008 table multimeter; does anyone have it? (because on the internet I did not find anything?) Thank you for your answers :)

Racal and Thurlby Thandar (TTi) have been known to re-badge each other's instruments (I'm not sure who was the OEM). Try searching for Thurrlby 1503 or 1504 - it looks very similar.

I had the same question and from what I can see it is a TTi 1504 due to the AC Voltage Range being in the 32 V range rather than 16 V plus the 1504 is an RMS not "Average Sense".

FYI this came in alongside several Fluke 8010A to my work for 1705 calibration and they are used in the aircraft industry even now.

So everyone is clear, Calibration = Taking Measurement against a known source, Verification = Checking Calibration against Specification, Adjustment = Adjusting the unit to be within specifications.
