3D Scanner RealScan USB from 3D Digital Corp. Worth the time or trash?

Hey guys,

you are so to say the last hope for a 3D Scanner I got from the scrapyard. Its a RealScanUSB 300 from 3d Digital Corp.

Now I just have the unit and it appears to be working. Now the only problem left is, that the software is kinda unobtainable as far as I tried... And here in Germany they weren't very popular. The company who used to build these is bankrupt and hasn't left any information behind.
So maybe anyone around the globe has ever worked with these and can tell me which software this thing needs to get to work?

Otherwise this thing is not worth a dime
