rear view safety aft 7 inch monitor issue

Hello,
I have a rear view safety camera. It comes with a multiplexer, the camera and a TFT screen. When I turn on the unit, many times the screen show a red LED and then it turns to a blue color. After that the screen would appear. If I just turn off the power to the unit and turn back on the LED would stay blue, but there would be no picture and the screen would stay dark. I will have to turn the screen off first by the power button, before turning off the switch I installed to turn off the power to the unit. Many times when I would turn the unit on by the master power switch it would still stay black.
I've opened the unit up and replaced the Capacitors on the multiplexer and monitor. The issue is still there.
Is it something that happens with these TFT screens a lot? are there some schematics that could give me an idea of what to look for?
Do you guys have any hints?
