Remove covers from HP 4123A Duplexer for HP 4050 printer
« on: November 05, 2023, 02:23:18 pm »
I did this some years back to re-tension some springs to prevent paper jams.  The springs just needed a gentle squeeze to restore normal service.

Now I want to remove the covers to do this again, but am clearly suffering from brain fade as I can't remember how to remove them without breaking things.

What's worse I'm sure I found a website last time round that gave excellent directions for this, but my google fu has clearly deserted me as I cannot find it now.

If anyone knows how to do this or better knows where to find a webpage with pictures showing how its done please let me know

**** I eventually worked out how to get them off there are clip points on the top, front and rear all of which need to be gently pried open.

Thanks
David

Google is now a sales vehicle and not a valid search anymore.

We use duckduckgo.

Best info: Go to HP printers forum.

The 4050 OP and SERV manuals are easily found.
