repair Agilent E4402B Tracking Generator 3GHz
« on: January 15, 2025, 08:56:57 pm »
I have a tracking generator in my E4402B that was flooded with water.
The BITG is a new type 5086-7993. I don't have any output level at all.
Inside the BITG is pure horror for anyone who wants to carry out an effective repair.
I cannot repair the output board in the BITG. This is because even if I had a machine for
bonding gold wires, it would be very difficult to buy components without a housing.
That's why I decided to recreate the BITG.
There was another post that was about a BITG for an E4407 that was built on normal PCB material.
I think there are probably other people with
the same problem.
