Repair - calibration " Pricing of Agilent In EU "

Well I started to navigate at the Agilent web site ,
so to find any related info about the U1272A ,
that soon I will own .

And searched also about technical support and pricing .  

Well , the out of warranty products looks to have an fixed rate ,
just for calibration  ( no parts included - probably goes extra)

And this pricing forms as follow , and is not the same in every EU country,
no matter if the end destination are the local repair center of Agilent .  ( Greece does not have any )

And I am asking, why in earth there is such differences .. ?  ( we are talking about Europe - same currency )
And the bottom line is , that with such high pricing , very few will bother to buy those services.

They seem like typical calibration prices that I've seen in the US. I think it's one of those services that mostly only large companies purchase and as such, are paid for out of rich budgets so the price is high

All company what need all instruments calibration certified valid (but they can use also all certified cal lab). (also I think this cheap calibration price is without documentation?)
But overall this pricing looks low pricing.
(yes you can do and look what it cost if you make this service - it is not cheap.)

BTW, we are EU but why different VAT etc, why different wage and cost of living?

How much peoples do work for 10 euro in different euro countries.. why some euro countries are nearly as bankruptcy state.

Just ask one voltage reference calibration check ( certified).
One voltage no adjustments, only write certification paper in lab what is real voltage.
(>1200 euro + VAT and it is valid one year.)

My guess is they may use  third-party companies for the cal service, so differences may be due to what these companies charge them.

Well the only that I can think of, and say , are that as long Fluke and Agilent,
started to use the New technology of " close case calibration" ,
they must drop they charges to 1/3 or less.

Nothing as cost of labor , justifies this pricing. 

If there is some sort of an metro-logy cartel , that keeps this price lists that high,
it must break apart.

It is quite expensive to set up & run a traceable cal lab, so there are many other costs apart from labour.
