Hi.
I recently got my hand on a high-end Samsung QLED 65" from 2016 for free that had been dropped.
The only issue, was that a smal piece of the FFC thats bonded on the display was ripped (about 5-6 traces on 5mm)
that had caused horizontal rows of about ~20 pixels to be off (~20 off, followed by ~20 pixel on and repeat).
When gently pushing the ripped part back to where it belongs, the dark rows turned on again, (hurray!).
I currently have it pushed in place by a smal piece of tape with the adhesive side facing away from the FFC (to avoid causing more damage when removing)
and I would like to re-attach the traces somehow.
I might be possible to solder them with tiny wires without totally messing with the signal integrity, but I would have to get a good microscope and a micro-tip for the iron and more.
Is there some kind of ACF tape or similar that don't require lot of heat and pressure that can be used or does anyone have any other suggestions on how to fix this?
Thanks in advance!
