I'm taking a look at this Flir i60, a little history on it " Always handled with kit gloves and never exposed to any hash conditions "it just stopped powering up one day". After getting it to power up and getting a splash screen the screen goes blank (white screen ) , I initially felt it would be a software issue and updating the firmware might resolve it , So I did that and the device rejected the updates, Errors are, ( Combined firmware ( 2.19.1 ) is intended for Flir Ixx-series ) , ( rls ,version.kits.appkit .ver, Command Failed , The handle is invalid <aborts...>). This happens with sd card update method , after that failed i considered maybe trying to connect through the serial port i could establish communication and check I/O signals sad to say I don't have a serial port cable for this device and couldn't find one online ( I considered making one ). Teardown !!!. So after breaking the usb input by dropping it, What a dope ! It slipped out of my hand and I believe that's when it happened the Bluetooth dongle was inside and it was not on , It was the plastic insert of the usb connector that had come apart , I decided to open it up check it and make repairs that's when I discover a chip that looks suspect PS54350 , I would really like to bring it back to life any help would be greatly appreciated . Thanks
