Title: Repair Keithley 2410 cannot source output voltage over 400 Volts
Post by: anupong1983 on March 02, 2020, 03:22:05 pm
Hello,
Does anyone can help or who has repaired the SMU KEITHLEY 2410 before?
after setting source output voltage over 400V the DMM display and output always stated only 460V (see display picture).

I found the Analog board was found defective, I've already replaced new power transistor and FET (see picture) but cannot fix the failure.

Hope someone can share the idea and help me fix this failure soon.

Thank you so much.

Did you measure the test points and supply rails ? The service manual has some information.
My 2420 is still defective.

Hello goaty,
Yes I have done. All power supply rails look okay but some test point I don't have the reference values. I only referenced to the manual  stated.

Do you know the part number of VR220 and VR221  (zener diode)?
These parts do not state on the part list.
