Repairing a HP 6227B power supply

I recently acquired a HP 6227B power supply. The supply itself is in great condition except for the beating it took from UPS during shipping. Making a power supply frame out of aluminum is great for heat dissipation, but not great for keeping its shape. I have bent the major parts of the frame back to near square, but one of the supply boards cracked its connector. The contacts do not appear to be broken, however the crack widens when the card is inserted into the connector. I was wondering if I could use super glue or another adhesive (in very small quantity) to repair the crack.

A drop of superglue when the card is in followed by removing the card to close the gap, and leave for 24 hours in a warm area to cure the superglue. Use a good quality one, like the Locktite brand.

Looks like the PCB has enough space to mount something next to the connector as a support, drill a few holes and screw something on to help the connector keep closed, after you glued it of course. Those cards look pretty heavy...

In addition to glueing (carefull not to contaminate the contacts), I would probably
create a small U-shaped brace to support the plastic from the outside. Perhaps from
aluminium or just some FR4.
