Repairing a Kindle Keyboard keyboard
« on: March 05, 2014, 11:26:02 pm »
I took it apart and it uses those film switches for each key. It turns out the menu key is the key that's not working. Is there any way to fix this kind of keyboard?

I'm not sure what the official description is for this keyboard type.
The Kindle Keyboard is one of the earlier versions.

I don't really know, but depending on where you are, I can probably send you the keyboard from my dead Kindle..

I may take you up on it but I do really want to know if this keyboard is fixable. Are you saying it's not possible?
Do you know what the real name is for this thin button that's used for the keyboard?

I have no idea if it's possible or not, I've never looked into it.

Ok, the keyboard looks so simple but there's nothing that looks obviously broken.
