Replacement diode for inverter, help needed

I need a replacement diode for the inverter I am trying to fix.  I'm guessing its a beefy schottky diode, my dmm says a VF of 460mv.  There's a double diamond logo and the diode has ER5026 on it.  Any idea what diode I should order to replace the blown one.  Also if I just replace one is my efficency going to be crap because the (some type of rectifier) well matched?

It doesn't look like I can buy those anymore, but I'm thinking this guy will do the job, different package and higher current rated.  Any thoughts?

That looks electrically OK. However, I would think that it shouldn't be too hard to find a replacement diode in the same package. :-?

I had a hard time finding one that met the same Reverse recovery time Trr for the given If and Reverse voltage.

Im looking for the same diode at least 24.  number on it is ER5026 (9.2 mm Long x 5.1 mm dia.)

Did you ever find a replacement for the ER5026?  I think we're all looking to fix the same Xantrex inverter or its equivalent.  I found one hard shorted diode of 24.
