The package suffixes are not entirely standardized between manufacturers.
What was commonly done for TTL logic chips was to package them in both plastic (epoxy) as well as hermetic ceramic and glass. The latter is impervious to moisture and reactive gasses and more thermally conductive, which was required in some industrial or aerospace applications. The plastic ("PDIP": Plastic Dual In-line Package) versions are much cheaper, of course.
For some higher pin-count chips, there were also "Shrink DIP" and "Staggered/Dual row DIP" but those aren't relevant to a 14-pin logic.
When reading the thread title, I thought you meant you were searching for an in-production substitute for an obsolete chip. 74HC logic may be compatible with AC, ACT, or even ALS.
