Replacement relays for Keithley 2001-TCSCAN card ...
« on: May 28, 2021, 09:00:15 pm »
I have both the Keithley 2000-SCAN and 2001-TCSCAN cards for use with a DMM6500, purchased well used. All the relays on the 2000 and all but two of those on the 2001 are of the same type. Just so that I know I'm starting with a fresh set of relay contacts I have replaced the common ones on the 2000 card and will do the same with the 2001.

Unfortunately I don't know how to identify a comparable part to replace the remaining pair of relays on the 2001-TCSCAN. From the standpoint of a newbie, relays are an astonishingly diverse world.

The parts themselves are labeled as being Aromat TF2E-5V-H38's and are referred to as "RELAY, ULTRA-SMALL POLARIZED TF2E-5V" in the Keithley manual for the card. They appear to switch in some current limiting resistors for channels 5 & 10 (I don't exactly grok why those are needed).

I've attached a thumbnail from the schematic and some potentially relevant info is here:

https://datasheetspdf.com/pdf-file/980252/ETC/TF2E-5V/1

Additional info on the part label:

ATF209 C01
LR26550 50124

Any direct pointers would be appreciated, or places to go learn enough to figure out what I need to purchase.

Many places i've checked  say the TF2 series are discontinued ?? not so sure,  and some give the TQ2 series as a substitute ??

Like the TQ2-5V
